privacy policy

this policy covers all apps in the tiny tales family: tinySleep, tinyTales, and tinyFilms.

what we collect

nothing. seriously.

• no account required. no email, no password, no phone number. ever.
• no analytics or tracking. no firebase, no mixpanel, no "anonymous usage data." we don't know how many times you open the app and we don't care.
• no advertising. no ad networks, no ad identifiers, no tracking pixels. zero.
• no third-party SDKs that collect data behind the scenes. our apps are built with pure apple frameworks. nothing else.

your data stays on your device

• tinySleep: all sleep logs, nap records, and predictions are stored on your device. period.
• tinyTales: all audio recordings, stories, and listening progress are stored on your device.
• tinyFilms: all video clips and edited films are stored on your device.

optional iCloud sync

if you choose to sync across devices, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. this means:

• your data is encrypted by Apple
• only you can access it (with your Apple ID)
• we never see it, never touch it, never store it on our servers
• we don't have servers

AI story generation (tinyTales only)

when you create a custom AI story, your baby's name and age are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter/Anthropic) to generate the story. this data is:

• used only for that single story generation
• not stored, not logged, not used for training
• transmitted over encrypted connection (HTTPS)
• the generated story is saved on your device, not on any server

payments

all purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. we never see your credit card, billing address, or payment information. Apple handles everything. we just get told "someone subscribed" — we don't know who.

children's privacy

our apps help parents create content for their children. we do not knowingly collect any information from children. all app interactions are between the parent and the device.

your rights

since we don't collect data, there's nothing to delete, export, or correct. your data is yours. it lives on your device. delete the app and it's gone. we never had it in the first place.

changes to this policy

if we ever change this policy, we'll update it here. but honestly? the whole point of how we built these apps is that we don't want your data. that's not changing.
